Buying a Cretan property

There are four things that you need to buy a property in Crete Island Greece.
The purchase of plot requires:
- A lawyer which checks the title and the legality of conventions,
- A tax number (the known A.F.M. in Greece),
- What notary [syntasei] the convention and you it registers as new householder. The final convention also is signed front the notary, as well as your lawyer,
- A engineering for the determination of specifications of topography and the restrictions of size of construction.
